It’s time to go back to the future with the extra-terrestrial trio , (www.hypercrush.com/) live and direct from Los Angeles’ gr8-1-8 area code, gracing us with their presence due to a malfunction with their flux-capacitor. Real genius Donny Fontaine and intergalactic beauty Holly Valentine handle the vocals while the group’s very own Doc Brown, Preston Moronie, mans the boards. The trio have been banging out tracks together since high school and are now ready for domination. In the last year and a half, their futuristic, electronic, robotic type sounds have gained them notoriety across the country and across the globe; something they got to see up and personal on their recent European tour with Lady Gaga. is Alan Palomo, the 21-year-old synth-wizard who first created waves as VEGA. After writing a batch of off-the-cuff recordings that weren’t quite right as VEGA songs, Palomo released them as and what started as a careless outlet for ideas too offbeat to fit the VEGA mold has since gone on to define a genre. His critically acclaimed début album Psychic Chasms, which was released in October 2009, has been featured in SPIN, Rolling Stone, Wall Street Journal and FADER among others. In February 2010 he made his late night TV debut with a performance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
