DC WRITERSCORPS AND THE GENERAL STORE INC Presents “WORKOUT” a dance party fundraiser for DC Writerscorps to raise funds for The DC Youth Slam Team’s expenses (transportation, food, supplies) & paying local artists to work with the team during the Brave New Voices International Youth Poetry Slam July 15-19. All monies raised will go directly into the hands of local youth and artists, not any kind of organizational overhead

SPIN DR. DJ NYCE (NY/DC) spins a sweaty mix of 80′s workout music, electronica, and hip hop. Guests are encouraged to rock retro workout gear.
