Chiddy Bang is made up of two guys, Chiddy (MC) and Xaphoon Jones (Producer) who meet up in Drexel University, in Philadelphia, PA. Their sound is based on the fusion of hip-hop and unique sample choices from alternative and Electronica artists such as Radiohead, Sufjan Stevens, Passion Pit, and MGMT. They first came on the scene with their mixtape entitled “The Swelly Express.” After the huge buzz from the mixtape they were later signed to EMI.

Latest mixtape from the philly duo, Chiddy Bang. The mixtape contains remixes and samples from some of their favorite UK artists such as Gorillaz, Ellie Goulding, La Roux, Kate Nash, Hot Chip and Tinie Tempah. A studio album is slated for August 24, 2010 Called Swelly Life.
