The BET Hip Hop Awards aired last night with a lukewarm reception. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) the hightlight of the show was a series of old school rhyme ciphers featuring DJ Premier, Mos Def, Black Thought, Eminem, Nicki Minaj, Buckshot, Crown Royyal, Joe Budden, Wale, Nipsey Hussle, Gsan & KRS-One.

Whoa. I thought Saigon might’ve given it to Joey (no home), but my man Joe Budden went in on Saigon. This is in response to some internet beef and the track released by Saigon – Under Achierver, dissing Joe Budden.
Going hard on Saigon over a Jay-Z track, i’m going to have to give the win to Joe. Sorry Saigon, he got you.

I haven’t been paying too much attention to the Saigon/Joe Budden beef on twitter and the rest of the internets, but when i get this new Saigon track i had to pay attention.
Saigon goes in on Joe Budden over this head nodder laced with piano and violin samples. And the lyrics are hot. It’s fiyah.
