iLike BillboardFor starving artists without major distribution or recording deals, this is a breath of fresh air. has teamed up with to create ’s first ever social network-based music . iLike.com and iLike on has over 15 million users so this collaboration will give a boost to unsigned artists and the music industry as a whole.

Billboard will syndicate two weekly charts: The top 25 ‘most added’ songs to Facebook user profiles, and the top 25 songs fans are adding to their personal music libraries on desktops and iPods, as tracked by iLike’s popular sidebar plugins for iTunes and Windows Media Player.

In addition, Billboard will provide up-to-the-minute music news to iLike’s rapidly growing community of music lovers. These live newsfeeds will be incorporated throughout contextually relevant locations on iLike.com and iLike on Facebook. Combined with the multimedia blogging tool, iLike is quickly becoming the premier place for fans and artists to connect online.
